Are You Ready For The Cyborg: Wearable cyborgs that use brain waves

Japanese robotics firm wants to fuse humans and machines to give people the freedom of mobility.

HAL – “The Hybrid Assistive Limb” essentially a wearable cyborg, that helps people to move and strengthens signal pathways for the nervous system.

It won’t be a mechanical body, It will help those with spinal cord injuries and muscular dystrophy regain their movements and strengthen their nerves and muscles, known as exoskeletons, these are lightweight suits which consist of powered joints with small electric motors, that serve as mechanical muscles.

The HAL suit possesses a “cybernetic control system” consisting of both a user-activated “voluntary control system” named Cybernic Voluntary Control (CVC) and a “robotic autonomous control system” named Cybernic Autonomous Control (CAC)” for automatic motion support.
